The Swiss Chinese Law Association is honoured to invite you to join their incoming 13th SCLA Global Forum- Diversity in International Legal Negotiation- Genders, Cultures and Strategies (which to be held between 13.00-15.30 CET time on 29th January 2021, Click here for the Global Time Reference, click here to register).
They are also pleased to invite you to join the Negotiation in Mediation Expert Training Program (NIMEP, click to register), the program focusses on the fundamental and techniques over the cultural conflicts over the International Mediation(to he held at 13.00-16.00 CET Time on 30th January 2021, Click here for the Global Time Reference).

Peter Alfandary, a legal expert and the senior vice president of the French Chamber of Commerce, whose work has related to cultural differences for several decades to discuss Cultural audits as a critical legal tool. Following this, we will discuss gender equality issues in cross-cultural negotiations. Federico Antich will offer his perspective on this topic as a mediator based on his experience of over 5,000 cases over the past 30 years. This will be followed by an extended debate on our expert panel of leading experts from Greece (Olga Tsiptse), the UK (Rakhi Rashmi), Poland (Pawel Sikora) and Hong Kong SAR (Sherlin Tung).
Agada John Elachi, President of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, will then lead a session on Culture Strategies in Mediation, followed by to how to deal with Conflicts of Cultural Interests in multilateral trade negotiations with Xiaobing Tang, Senior Counsellor of the World Trade Organization. We will then welcome Peter Ruggle (Ruggle Partners) to share his vision on Collaborative law in Mediation. As a young mediation and arbitration expert who has lived in Switzerland, US and Mexico, Ana James will, subsequently, bring the discussion of the Perception of the Society and Perception of Listeners. To conclude our forum, senior Brazilian diplomat (as the deputy head in the Europe Division) and lawyer Paulo Fernando Pinheiro Machado will walk us through Gravitas in Negotiation.
Meanwhile, they wish to invite you to send any submissions related to the “diversity in Legal Negotiation and Mediation ” be submitted to Swiss Chinese Law Review Journal ( submit at: ac.sclalawreview.org) to be considered for the publication in our next journal.
They also wish to share their 2020-2021 Cross year event with you(held in Shenzhen,China), joined by leading lawyers from 10 cities in China in person, and colleagues globally from 20 countries(Check the 2 minutes event video here, thanks to the support from Yingke Law and KKG Law Firm.
